IT’S beachfront, offers multimillion-dollar views, and has multiple entertaining areas across two levels.

Welcome to the penthouse at 19 Broadbeach Blvd, Broadbeach.

This luxury pad, set to go to auction next month, is positioned in one of the most exclusive addresses on the Coast.

The boutique building has just seven residences including the penthouse which occupies levels seven and eight.

Gold Coast penthouse
There’s plenty of space.

Vendor Dean Willaton and wife Theresa bought the property in April, 2020, swapping life on a cattle station at Mitchell, seven hours west of Brisbane.

“We decided to downsize our business out there and Therese and I came to the Coast to semi-retire,” Mr Willaton said.

“Our daughter was also doing Year 11 and 12 here so it just made sense.”’

Mr Willaton said it was love at first sight when they stepped foot in the penthouse.

“As soon as we walked in we were sold,” he said.

“We only came down for the day and we inspected this apartment twice and decided to buy it.

“It ticked all of our boxes.”

He said epic views, the fact the building was fairly new after being constructed in 2018, and the sheer size of the residence were all major draw cards.

The floorplan offers 452sq m of living space with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, library, butler’s pantry, wine cellar and private lift.

Entertaining is a breeze with a massive balcony that will comfortably seat a romantic dinner for two or accommodate a cocktail party of 50.

But it is the outlook of the ocean that truly sets the scene.

“The view of the ocean is amazing,” Mr Willaton said.

“Out west you get the big views of the sky and when we came here and looked out that window we saw the ocean and the sky — it was similar in that sense.

“And even though we are on the Gold Coast which is busy you get that ocean aspect which makes it relaxing.”

The opulent master bedroom has an ensuite, lounge area, private balcony and walk-in wardrobes.

There are four car spaces and a large storage cafe.

Resident facilities include a pool and covered barbecue alfresco area on level one.

The building is on a quiet road along the beachfront of Broadbeach.

It is a short walk to the bright lights of Broadbeach where you will find shopping outlets, restaurants and cafes.

Mr Willaton said the family were selling to make the move to the Sunshine Coast.

“We’ve had so much fun here,” Mr Willaton said.

“But it’s time to get back to work.

“We’ve bought a small acreage on the Sunshine Coast where we are going to breed and train quarter horses.

“We are getting back to what we know.”

Tolemy Stevens of Harcourts Coastal is taking the property to auction on January 21.
